Prof. Balwantray K. Thakore Collection:
Balwantray Kalyanray Thakore popularly known as B. K. Thakore was a poet and criticizer. He is one of the great pioneers of the Pandit yug, the turn of the twentieth century period in Gujarati literature. He played a key role in the development of modern Gujarati poetry. In 1983, he was awarded a gold medal for his historical essay An account of the first Madhavrao Peshwa.
Prof. Balvantrai Kalyanrai Thakore (B. K. T) collection is a unique collection of 1446 titles of Prof. Balwantrai Thakore, an eminent literary figure in Gujarati Literature.
