Membership
Out of 14 constituent Libraries under the University Library System, 8 Libraries offer Library operations through a smart card using bar code technology are fully automated. Circulation Section is one of the prominent sections, which facilitates the users to borrow books for their home reading on the basis of their category of patron privilege.
Presently, University Library System as a whole offers the following categories of patrons:

| Ex- Students | Those who are desirous to complete their respective degrees |
| Academic staff | Full time, Visiting, Temporary Faculty members of the University(4 books for 30 days) |
| Permanent Administrative staff | University Officers including Class IV(4 books for 30 days) |
| Individual Membership | Learned representatives of the Society and former Teachers and Administrative Staff of the University Rs.5000 Deposit-Rs. 1000 Service Charge (1 book for 30 days) |
| Corporate Membership | Industries to have better Industry / University coordination and cooperation Rs25,000 Deposit- Rs.5000 Service Charge- (3 books for 30days) Rs.10,000 Deposit- Rs.3000 Service Charge - (1 book for 30 days ) |
| Temporary Library Membership | Non M S University fraternity - research scholars and others strived for intellectual needs |
| Retired Teacher | Rs.1000 Deposit- Rs.100 Service Charge (1 book for 30 days) |
| Alumni Library Membership | One time Charges Rs.10,000 (2 books for 30 days) |
