It was quite great pleasure that I visited the University Library once again, I had seen it before it was fully furnished and before it was finally arranged, A good library is an asset to a university and renders a useful service to research, The Maharaja Sayajirao University is indeed fortunate in having such a good well equipped and well staffoid library. My good wishes to Dr.Shukla, The Chief Librarian and his well trained staff who have the great responsibility of showing what a good library can do for advancement of education. 14.12.1958

The kind of facilities Library provides really encourage students to come and read. I appreciate the initiatives like provision of putting a request to purchase any book, theme based display of books, the intimation of new arrivals and provision of finding books on basis of frequency of issuing.
